After you complete the health intake, a licensed clinician reviews your information — typically within 24 hours. Depending on your state and health profile, you may receive a prescription directly or be asked to complete a brief phone or video call. Once approved, your medication is prepared and shipped to you, with tracking updates sent by email and text. Each shipment includes a four-week supply. You’ll be guided through refill check-ins to ensure uninterrupted care, and you’ll have ongoing access to your patient portal for support, progress tracking, and questions at no extra cost.

Injectable treatments are taken once weekly and administered using a small needle. Tablet treatments are taken daily and dissolve under the tongue for absorption. We offer both injectable and tablet forms of semaglutide and tirzepatide. All treatments are clinician-guided and prescribed based on your health profile, preferences, and state requirements.

You may cancel your order and receive a full refund any time before a licensed clinician completes your prescription review. Once your prescription has been approved and fulfillment has begun, the order becomes non-refundable. All subscriptions are month-to-month with no long-term commitments. You can cancel future months at any time through your patient portal. To avoid being charged for the next shipment, please cancel before your next order is prepared. If a clinician determines that you are not eligible for treatment after enrollment, your initial payment will be refunded in full. We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods. In limited circumstances, refunds may be issued at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Bundled subscriptions are non-refundable once fulfillment begins, and any medications or products that have already shipped as part of a bundle cannot be refunded. If promotional discounts were applied and a plan is canceled early, discounts may be adjusted or reversed, which can affect the final refund amount. No. Insurance is not required. We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. There are no hidden fees.

Yes. If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you can pay using your HSA/FSA card at checkout. If you need additional documentation email support@chia.health and tell us what your administrator requested.

All Chia clinicians are licensed and based in the United States. Your care is provided through a secure telehealth platform and follows the same medical standards required for in-person care.

Our partner pharmacies are state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies, operating under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. 503A pharmacies specialize in personalized, patient-specific medications — FDA registration applies to mass-manufacturing facilities, which is a different category entirely. All active ingredients are sourced from FDA-registered and inspected suppliers.

No. If a clinician determines that you’re not eligible, you won’t be charged. If payment was already processed, a full refund will be issued within 24–48 hours. Video appointments are also not charged if you’re deemed ineligible.

Possibly. If you’ve recently been prescribed medication by another provider, a Chia clinician will review your current prescription and dosage to determine the safest way to continue. You may be asked to share documentation and answer a few follow-up questions before your starting dosage is confirmed.

Before your current supply runs out, you’ll receive a check-in through your patient portal. A clinician will review your progress and confirm eligibility to continue. If approved, your next shipment is prepared automatically. You can also message your care team or schedule an appointment if you have questions or concerns.
